Studio Tecnico GRS was founded in 1971, thanks to the expertise of Giorgio Santoni, who garnered significant experience as a surveyor, construction and civil works manager at the McGaughy, Marshall, McMillian, and Lucas firm.

Between 1956 and 1970, he contributed to the construction of major civil works, including buildings, power plants, roads, motorways, and airports in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Africa.

In the 1980s, GRS evolved into a company specializing in project design and topography, encompassing tasks such as tracking and managing civil work sites. Leveraging extensive experience and state-of-the-art equipment, GRS expanded its capabilities over time, offering services related to detailed topographic surveys within airport facilities, even in the presence of air traffic. The scope extended to monitoring, architectural surveys, project design, and contract accounting.

Today, GRS is a rapidly growing and developing company, with its core business focused on “Testing and monitoring Engineering Services“. This is achieved through the implementation of advanced technologies, including the 3D Laser Scanner, GIS systems development, geometric and mechanical analysis of road and airport pavement, mapping of subservices, assessment of lighting levels, and surveying retro-reflection of signs.
